Common questions
The things owners ask first.
Can you read my books?
No. Your books are encrypted on your own computer with a passphrase only you know, before anything is sent. We hold a file we cannot open. See how.
Can it change or damage my Tally books?
No. It is read-only. There is no path in the program that can create, edit or delete an entry in Tally.
Does it need the internet, or the PC always on?
Your phone works offline from its own copy. The computer needs TallyPrime open and a connection only to publish a fresh update.
Which TallyPrime version does it work with?
It works with TallyPrime on Windows, using Tally's own connection setting. Ask us about your version.
Can I give staff a limited view?
Yes. A salesperson or collections clerk gets their own view that never receives the figures they are not entitled to. You can withdraw it any time.
Multiple companies and phones?
Unlimited phones on one licence, and you can add more than one company. Open the same link and enter the same passphrase on each phone.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Download it and use it free for 7 days, with no card and no licence key needed to start. After that, a licence keeps it running.
What does the price include, and how do I pay?
One computer and unlimited phones, plus updates and support during the licence. You buy and pay over WhatsApp.
What if I forget my passphrase?
We cannot recover it, by design. But nothing is lost from Tally: you set a new one on the computer and open the app again. Why it works this way.
