Features

Everything it does.

Your TallyPrime books on your phone, working when the computer is switched off, readable by nobody but you, and free to install on as many phones as you like.

80 KB

The size of a typical update, small enough to publish on a slow connection.

Under a second

To open a screen, because your phone answers from its own copy, not a live connection.

₹0

Running cost to you beyond the licence. There is no per-phone or per-message fee.

How it works, in three sentences

A small program on your Windows computer reads your company out of TallyPrime, checks the figures add up, locks them with a passphrase only you know, and uploads one file. Your phone downloads that file once per change and answers every question from its own copy, so it opens fast and works on a train with no signal. Nothing is ever written back to Tally, so your books cannot be damaged by using this.

On your phone

Five tabs, and every Tally report you check by habit.

Home, Owed, Ledgers, Reports and More, all reading from your own books.

01

Home, the overview you check first.

Cash and bank balances, who owes you split by how old the debt is, and sales by month as a simple chart.

02

Owed, who owes you, oldest first.

Every party, oldest debt at the top, with the bills underneath and an ageing bar across 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days.

Home

Cash and bank balances. Who owes you, split by how old the debt is. Sales by month as a simple chart. Your most recent entries.

Owed

Who owes you and who you owe, party by party, oldest debt first, with every bill underneath and an ageing split across 0–30 / 31–60 / 61–90 / 90+ days.

Ledgers

Every account, searchable by name or group. Open one for a full statement with a running balance, tap any line to see the entry behind it.

Reports

Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, Cash & Bank Book, Ratio Analysis.

More

Day Book, Sales Register, Stock Summary, Search, and a company switcher when you run more than one.

Pick a period, and compare with last year

The Day Book and Sales Register have This month, Last month and financial-year buttons, plus your own dates. Monthly sales show how each month compares with the same month a year earlier. The other reports show whole-of-books figures on purpose: a date filter there would show a number that looks like last month and is not.

Reports

The reports you check by habit.

All derived from your own books, nothing invented, nothing left out.

Balance Sheet

What the business owns and owes, grouped as Tally groups it.

Profit & Loss

Income and expenses by group, with gross and net profit.

Trial Balance

Every ledger in both columns, with a check on whether it balances.

Cash & Bank Book

Every cash and bank account, and the movements through each.

Ratio Analysis

Working capital, current and quick ratios, margins, and more.

Day Book & Sales

Every entry by date, with month and financial-year filters.

Yours to switch on

Four extras, off until you turn them on.

Each one shows its own downside next to the switch. A feature you cannot turn off is one you cannot safely try on your own company.

Share & export

Send a customer their statement or a polite payment reminder over WhatsApp. Download any report as a spreadsheet. The honest cost: it is the only feature that moves figures out of the locked copy, what you share lives in that app afterwards.

Lock this app

A short PIN instead of typing your passphrase every time. The honest cost: eight wrong PINs and the phone forgets it, asking for the passphrase again. Nothing is lost.

Alerts

Told when a bill falls overdue, or when the figures on the phone have gone stale. The honest cost: needs notification permission, and arrives only while the app is open. Nothing on our side watches your books, we cannot read them.

Cost centres, godowns, batches

Three extra screens for books that use them, including what is expiring. The honest cost: empty on books that do not use them, which is most.

For your staff

Let others see part of the books, and nothing more.

The figures they are not entitled to are never sent to their phone. Not hidden, absent.

On the computer

It installs itself, checks the figures, and stays out of the way.

Installs itself

One file, no prerequisites. A setup page opens in your browser, asks four questions, and schedules itself. No administrator rights needed.

Checks before it publishes

Every update proves the books add up before anything is sent. Books that do not add up are not uploaded.

Syncs itself, and on demand

Every four hours on its own. Tap Sync on the phone and the computer wakes, reads Tally and publishes in about 30 seconds.

Works only when something changed

A quick check decides whether a full read is needed at all, so the normal cycle costs almost nothing.

Credentials encrypted at rest

Stored with Windows' own protection, tied to your user account. A copied file yields nothing.

Tells you about updates

Checks daily and says when a new version exists. It never downloads or installs anything by itself, not next to live accounting data.

Being straight with you

What it does not do, on purpose.

Naming the limits is how you know the rest is true.

No data entry on the phone

It is for checking your books, not keeping them. You still enter everything in Tally.

No GST filing

No returns, e-invoice or e-way bills. Those change with the law.

No invoice PDF

Sharing a statement or a reminder covers the real need for a fraction of the weight.

No collecting payments

Taking money needs a payment licence and a server that knows who owes what. Our server knows nothing.

See it on your own books.
